Shannon Raftery

Shannon is a Northern artist from a strong working-class background and believes strongly in creating theatre that reaches everyone within the community. She has strong experience with touring productions around community centres and creating political pieces of street theatre. For her MA dissertation focus, Shannon is exploring using theatre to influence social change. She has extensive knowledge in political theatre movements such as The Working-Class Theatre Movement and uses this to influence her own work. Shannon is also an experienced musician with the ability to play bass and guitar. Shannon is a lively and passionate creator who is always looking for new and exciting projects to be a part of.
